Capturing Love at Mary Jo Peckham Park (Katy Bear Park)

For this session, we headed to Mary Jo Peckham Park, a local gem nestled in the heart of Katy, Texas. Known to many locals simply as Katy Bear Park, its expansive trees, serene lake, and winding pathways offer an absolute paradise for professional wedding photography. The afternoon light filtering through the trees gave us a gorgeous, soft glow that beautifully complemented Karen’s elegant one-shoulder gown and James’ sharp black suit accented with a vibrant teal tie.

Shot in early June, the park was alive with vibrant summer colors. We took full advantage of the stunning lakeside backdrops, focusing on candid laughter, quiet glances, and the simple beauty of their walk together as husband and wife. With a striking bouquet featuring shades of teal, navy, and silver, every detail popped beautifully against the organic tones of the park.
